During my stay, I faced a couple of frustrations. The absence of on-site parking meant I had to leave my car quite a distance away, which was inconvenient, especially after a long day of exploring. the steep stairs to access my room posed a significant challenge, making me feel uneasy each time I had to navigate them.

The spacious and quiet room provided a comfortable night's sleep, allowing for a relaxing stay. Breakfast included ample choices and even croissants to take later, adding a nice touch to the experience.

Getting to the property involves navigating very steep stairs, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Exceptional Hosts and Delicious Breakfast

I recently stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double Room, and I can't speak highly enough of the wonderful hosts, Katrien and Steven. They welcomed us warmly and provided excellent tips about the local attractions, making our stay truly enjoyable. The spacious room was spotlessly clean, and I was particularly impressed with the breakfast, which included a delightful selection of fresh fruits, homemade jams, and the option for cooked eggs alongside meats. The only downside was that I wished I could have stayed longer to explore more of Ypres!

we loved the beautiful house at la porte cochere, just a short walk from the main square. the hosts, steven and katrien, were incredibly helpful, sharing their local knowledge with us. breakfast was delicious, featuring a fantastic selection that set us up for the day.

This place suits me perfectly and provides everything I need, like good Wi-Fi, an off-site car park, and a lovely leisure room. The staff once gave me the best local taxi tip, which I remember fondly. I highly recommend this place!
